This Privacy Policy explains how AutoGuardian AI ("the App"), developed by
Peter Hajdu ("we", "us"), handles your information. We built the App to respect your privacy:
it works without an account, and your data stays on your device.
Information the App uses
Vehicle & diagnostic data. When you connect a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi
OBD-II adapter, the App reads data from your vehicle (such as engine values, fault codes and
VIN) to show diagnostics. This data is processed and stored only on your device.
Location data. If you enable trip recording, the App uses your device
location to record routes, distance and speed. This is stored only on your device
and is never shared with us or any third party.
Bluetooth. Used solely to connect to your OBD-II adapter.
What we do NOT do
We do not require an account or collect your name, email or password.
We do not operate our own servers; your vehicle and location data stay
on your device.
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data.
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Data storage and deletion
All data is stored locally on your device (and is only included in your own device/iCloud
backups, which are controlled by Apple and your settings). You can delete records inside the App,
or remove all data at any time by deleting the App from your device.
Children
The App is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest
version.
